KEITH HAYMAN
The Kelham Island Arts & Heritage Trail was a joint winner of the Keith Hayman Award for public art. Named in memory of Keith Hayman, a keen artist and Sheffield Civic Trust (SCT) Trustee, the award is presented to the artist judged to have contributed most to the enhancement of Sheffield’s public realm in the year preceding the award. The photo above shows Craig Wolstenholme and John Wilkinson being presented with the winning certificate.
BEST NEIGHBOURHOOD 2019
The continuing transformation of Kelham Island and Neepsend was recognised in 2019, as KINCA were awarded the The Best Neighbourhood of the Year in UK & Ireland by The Academy of Urbanism. We hope the creative artwork in the area helped to contribute to the judges decision to grant us this very prestigious award.
